Pasture & forest raised
Chickens live on pasture and are moved to fresh ground consistently. Pigs move and root through the woods and pasture.

Organic, Soy- and corn-free feed
We utilize a proprietary ration sourced from an organic certified feed mill. We do not include soy or corn in our feed routines for chickens or pigs.

No Vaccinations
We do not utilize vaccinations for our chickens and choose to rely on natural remedies for health management where possible.

Cottage Pastures is owned and worked by our family in the hills of Southeastern Indiana, near Vevay. We farm the way we believe characterizes the cottage life — animals on pasture, herbs and flowers in the gardens, bees in abundance — because the family table is worth building a farm and homestead around.
The same food we raise and sell is what we serve our own children. This is a family business, and we hope it serves as a place of inspiration for many.
