American-grown · hardneck · Southeastern Indiana
American-grown garlic.
Most grocery garlic in this country is imported — much of it from China. Ours is planted, pulled, and cured in Switzerland County. Hardneck culinary bulbs for American kitchens, shipped from this farm.
Garlic is not a side crop here. It is one of the things this ground seems to want to do. Music is the jumbo porcelain: large cloves, hot then sweet, the keeping quality a larder needs. Chesnok Red is the purple-stripe we grow beside it — mellow roasted, still honest raw.
Culinary bulbs, grown for the kitchen, not for the photograph of a braid. Packed in half-pounds and pounds. A variety pack if you want both in the same box as the meat.
Garlic ships on its own harvest calendar in the fall, and we keep culinary stock while it lasts. Frozen meat and garlic can share a porch when the dates line up. Free pickup in Vevay for anyone close enough to drive.

Questions
Asked plainly.
Do you ship garlic nationwide?
Yes. Culinary bulbs ship on the garlic calendar across the lower 48. Pickup is free at the farm in Vevay, Indiana.
Can I pick up garlic near Cincinnati or Louisville?
Yes — free pickup at 10454 N State Road 56, Vevay, Indiana, about an hour from Cincinnati and downriver from Louisville. Or have the same bulbs shipped.
Is your garlic imported?
No. It is grown and cured here. Most supermarket garlic is imported. If you want a head that saw Indiana ground, this is that head.
What varieties do you sell?
Music and Chesnok Red culinary bulbs, plus a variety pack. We also grow other hardnecks on the farm; the shop lists what is packed for sale.
When does garlic ship?
On its own harvest schedule in the fall, on posted dates — not on the meat every-other-week rhythm. Check the ship bar, or pick up in Vevay.
Can I put garlic in a meat box?
When dates overlap, yes. Otherwise garlic ships on its calendar so a bulb never waits in a warehouse on a chicken run.
