About this cut

Music Garlic — The Jumbo

Culinary garlic — Grown for the Kitchen.

Music is the biggest garlic we harvest, and this year’s crop outdid itself — bulbs run 3–4.5 ounces each. Fewer, larger cloves means less peeling and more cooking: one clove of Music does the work of two or three from a supermarket head. Naturally cured on our family farm in Southeastern Indiana.

What to expect

  • 1/2 lb — approximately 2–3 bulbs
  • 1 lb — approximately 3–4 bulbs
  • Typically 4–6 very large, easy-to-peel cloves per bulb
  • Glossy white wrappers; naturally cured; keeps for months in a cool, dry spot in the kitchen

In the kitchen

Bold and rich when minced raw into dressings and marinades; sweet and mellow when roasted. The oversized cloves are made for a chef’s knife — one smash, one peel, dinner underway.

Bulb count per bag varies with bulb size — we pack to weight, never under.

Shipping: $9.99 flat rate at any weight · shipping begins the week of July 27th, separately from frozen items · limit 5 lb per variety. We’re unable to ship garlic into allium-quarantine counties in Idaho, eastern Oregon, and central Washington, or to Alaska and Hawaii — frozen meat still ships to all of these areas.
